We've got a lot of snow and it's really cold. I think I'll stay home and make some jewelry. I can't quite imagine standing in line at WalMart for whatever their big sale is. I should have some new lovelies to post tomorrow. Maybe I'll feel like going out for supplies then. It's been a long time since I've had a day to just stay home, I'm really enjoying it!

15% Off Your Order - coupon code Blog1
This is one of the new bracelets I just listed. I came up with this design a little while ago while I was messing around with crochet and beads. I really enjoy the surprise element of not knowing what it's going to look like until it's done. So far they have all turned out good :) I've got a coupon code for anyone reading this blog. Climate Shock
I just spent a week in sunny California helping my sister with her yard. It was gorgeous weather in the high seventies and low eighties the whole week I was there. I've lived in the northwest all my life and most of the stuff we planted in her yard were things I've only known as house plants. It was a lot of fun, I wish I was going to be there to see them all bloom.
While I was gone we had a huge storm with a lot of hail and wind gusts up to 85 mph. It wreaked a bit of havoc with my backyard. Blew down the pergola, blew our wood adirondack chairs into the pond and tipped over and broke a lot of my pots and deck furniture.

Gift Tags
I like how tags look on a package. I also really enjoy making them. Such a simple thing and still so satisfying. I recently sold almost all of the tags I had posted in my shop opening up the possibilities for making even more :)
